Kidnappers kill one and kidnap 6 relatives in Kogi

Kidnappers have killed a person known as Ayuba, and kidnapped six members of the family in a very farm at Lagbeta community in Kogi government space Kogi State.

A relation of the victims, Ishaya Bulus, aforesaid the incident happened at regarding 10:12 am on Wed morning, Gregorian calendar month 24, once the victims were gathering seeds at the farm.

He said one in all the deceased family members was shot dead by kidnappers whereas trying to flee as they were being whisked away into the forest.

"They were busy gathering beniseeds once the abductors suddenly appeared and rounded them up at gunpoint. it had been whereas they were moving the victims into the forest that one in all them tried to flee and one of the kidnappers opened fireplace on him,” he aforesaid.

He said the remains of the deceased has been deposited at a mortuary, although the family was nevertheless to ascertain contact with the kidnappers.
