He said there's still hope for the 2 british boxer to fight despite Joshua losing his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles to Usyk.

As for Joshua's impending move to trigger his contractual right to a rematch with Usyk, presumably in February or March within the UK, Warren believe it might be a huge mistake.

He told Sportsmail: ‘He shouldn’t go anywhere near Usyk – he will never beat him.

‘In terms of fighting Tyson Fury, it can happen. Joshua losing has removed the belts and he's damaged goods now. But people would still invest that fight. It can happen and it can happen within the UK.

‘But he shouldn’t have a rematch with Usyk. I wouldn’t even believe it if i used to be him.

Joshua was outclassed by Usyk in his 117-112, 116-112, 115-113 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Warren believes Fury would have ‘destroyed’ Joshua within the half of the fight had he been within the opposing corner.

He said: ‘I thought Joshua was poor. Take nothing faraway from Usyk, who was brilliant, but Joshua was poor. He didn’t fancy it in the least . What was he even doing on the ring walk? He was shaking hands with people within the crowd. You’re meant to get on a mission. When he was within the ring he looked gun shy.

‘Tyson Fury would have destroyed him inside three or four rounds. Tyson has great footwork, an excellent chin and his hands are as fast as Usyk’s and he's bigger – he would have destroyed Joshua.’
